You may or may not know who Cheryl Cole is, but I'm sure you can tell that she has beautiful dimples. It may or may not be related to the fact that she's been in the news a lot lately (messy divorce), but there's a new trend in plastic surgery......Dimpleplasty.Can you believe that?!?!!
Surgeons cut into the skin to make a small indentation and then stitch it to the backside to hold it in place. Over time the surface will dissolve and permanent scar tissue will remain.
OUCH!!
Doctors are warning that man made dimples won't look completely natural (duh!!) and the long term effects of the surgery are unknown. One surgeon explained that the designer dimples are akin to permanent scarring and could turn into a designer disaster as the face begins to droop with age.
Ummm! Gross!
